I have decided that once I land on a new continent, I will try to avoid ferrying stuff with ships and rely on long range fuel efficient jet planes (like Boeing 747's) because ships seem to consume lots of fuel too in relation to their ranges. It seems that with some units, the low oil consumption will pay back the construction costs and yearly maintenance costs after just a few flights. Example: I just recently saw the Chinese are apparently running tests for UNMANNED stealth fighter: (I dont remember having seen this in SR2020)Īlso.are you developers sure it is realistic that some airplanes consume horrible amounts of fuel while other airplanes are greatly fuel economic for the same range of flight? Example: I found out that in SR2020 it is better to avoid Russian Antonovs like plague and purchase plans for Boeing 747 from USA and Mi-6 (or whatever was that heavy helicopter) plans from Russia if you wish to ferry cargo etc long ranges with ridiculously low fuel consumption (for oil producing countries that means more oil left for sales to well paying allies and for non-oil producing countries less problems with need for oil). Military about their current and future technologies and projects but also take into account the developments in other countries. I would like to suggest something: if there will be any future strategy games whose technology takes place in 2020 or after, it is ok to keep in touch with U.S.
